I have been having my dark roots covered at a salon for probably 15 years. But when I decided to retire I also decided to stop with the root touch up. Problem was.. I had all this dark hair with very light “gray” roots. My hair is somewhat fragile, made more so from a permanent body wave done a couple years ago. So I was concerned about “the process”, I also didn’t want it to fall out…And I didn’t want half white/gray hair until it grew out. Enter Kelsi. She’s young. She’s highly educated in her field… she’s up to date on new procedures and products and she likes a challenge. That would be me. A challenge. She talked me into cutting off the weakest ends, I previously had not found a stylist I trusted to do this, but it was an awesome new look for me. Then she was able to strip the dark color off in 2 sessions, only 2 due to my fine not so thick hair. She was so patient for the hours that it took, and it gave me time to get to know her. My plan is to get to “NO color maintenance” by my retirement date. That may not happen, due to my scheduling but it’s okay. I enjoy my time with her. I found a stylist and I found a new young friend. If you’re particular about your hair… you will be glad you found Kelsi.

A bonus is that all items for sale are either made locally or in the USA. It’s a great place to purchase something special for that special someone! I always enjoy dropping into this great shop when I am in Asheboro. It is truly a hidden gem full of lovely surprises!

I didn't get anything major done today. I just needed a trim but the difference is AMAZING. I loved my stylist, she was very accommodating, efficient, and listened to what I needed. They do take walk-ins if they have time and I didn’t have to wait long to get seen, but I still recommend that you call ahead and make sure that they have time to see you. Over-all a FANTASTIC experience and I would recommend them!

All of the staff are super friendly and very personable, they really make you feel like family! They take their time with you and do an awesome job! Jennifer does an amazing job and Karli does an outstanding job doing nails. She really takes her time and makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend The Hair Studio. The staff is friendly, and the way everything is set up makes the experience so enjoyable. The salon has been recently remodeled and looks beautiful. I also love that they offer a complimentary drink while you enjoy your pedicure—it really makes you feel pampered. I Got a full set of acrylic my daughter also got A full set of acrylic, I got my toes done to match with a massage and hot wax.It was wonderful, affordable and quality care. All only cost $200 if you come here as a walk in, do not complain about the wait, you must make an appointment to get seen because they are very busy. And it's obviously because they are quality ladies.

Ms. D is the best!! She fixed the bangs on a wig I messed up when trying to trim. I have another long wig that tangles really bad and looked like a wig. Ms. D cut it into a super cute shorter style. She also offered to trim up the lace making it look more realistic. I got a compliment from an avid wig wearer who said she couldn't tell it was a wig. She said whoever cut it did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend Ms. D. I will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I have both gotten several tattoos by Brian and he has always been fantastic!!! Yesterday I took my 6year old daughter to get her ears pierced and Kasey was there. What can I say? It is all good. Very Friendly, knowledgeable, comfortable atmosphere, good music. I went as a spur if the moment and Christian was so kind, he asked what I wanted, advised on placement, the design was beyond what I hoped for. He drew it up and a few hours later got the call to come in. Beautiful, I highly recommend Christian the whole time he was tattooing the concentration and ease of conversation was relaxing. I will definitely be going back to continue my tattoo. Thank you, so much Christian for great art and for caring about how your art looks.
There is a reason why there are so many five star ratings . Saunders was recomended by a friend who had used them in the past . Had a leak in the yard . They came out and made the repair quickly and affordable. I highly recomend Saunders for any and all plumbing needs .

Eliud's did an amazing job with carpet for us. I was in a bit of a time crunch and they made it super easy from measuring, helping with selection and installation. I am very pleased with the work done and relieved to get it all completed much sooner than expected!

Luis was great to work with from the estimate to final installation.The site was prepped and staged for concrete quickly and efficiently. Once the concrete had cured the building was put into place flawlessly. His team of concrete workers and building installers were such a delight, very professional and respectful of our property leaving the job site clean. I highly recommend their services and plan to use them for a future driveway project as well!!

Although we weren’t able to move forward with the project due to an unexpected issue with obtaining the build permit, Raul and Jazmin were communicative and extremely helpful through the entire way and went above and beyond. Highly recommend using them for your building project.
There I was in the heat of battle with the anaconda orangutan candy roo snake monkey urinary tract monster and feeling light headed I was pulled from that world and Dr Hill said, " Grady, let me turn your head. I need to turn your head but you won't relax " . I said okay and then they put me back under . I didn't make it back to that world again. But I did give Daryl a tough days work. 5 stars
Great experience, and that's saying something for going to the dentist! I want to particularly thank Lauren (spelling?) for her gentle touch and providing a thorough yet non-traumatic cleaning and exam. I'm an old guy and have been to many dentist offices in my time. I've never had such an easy time with any other dental tech. Thanks Lauren!

Dr Dunn is the absolute best! As is his office staff and technicians. After trying 6 different dentists, Dr Dunn was the only one, I would take my children too. He allowed me to stay in the room with my children and had compassion and concern for their needs while treating them with respect. That was 19 years ago. I have moved away and tried other dentists since then, but none compared so I finally flew back from Colorado to see Dr Dunn. Even though we are finally settled in Va, I will continue to drive the 2 hours to see him. When 2 other dentists said I needed a crown or a tooth pulled, etc., Dr Dunn saved my tooth. He told me it could last a week, a year, there were no guarantees, but he would try. That was 10 years ago, and my tooth and filling are still intact, just one more reason why I keep coming back. I do not get any numbing when he works on a cavity or filling because it is not needed. Dr. Dunn is a gentle, knowledgeable, and very personable professional. His staff are the same. You will not be disappointed by choosing him as your dentist. I pray he never retires while I am still living! :)

The entire staff was so friendly and nice. We were a work in as our Daisy Mae ate some grapes and we were worried about how they would affect her. Everyone understood my concerns, worked us in quickly and gave us a most wonderful experience. I choose your clinic since she had been seen by you before we adopted her from Ruff Love Rescue. We spend time between Charlotte and Asheboro but I'm now thinking I need to switch our other dogs care to you all in Asheboro. That's what a great impression I had from everyone there.
Dr. Coffman is the best!!! She takes her time and is very thorough. She always follows up with phone calls as soon as possible and is very compassionate. I feel fortunate to have found such a great vet for my babies!!!

They were compassionate and understanding. We tried for 2 weeks to get an appointment with reg vet and others... couldn't get in for weeks... Yes, weeks. Carolina saw us right away. Let's just say, it did not end well. But Carolina was great - compassionate, understanding, gave us time, can't say enough. If I could give them a 10 out of 5, I would. Loving people.
I typically never write reviews… but I absolutely had to for this vet clinic! I was referred here for a TPLO surgery and I will come back here for any other issues I have. The staff is super kind, the facility is clean and updated, and the prices are VERY fair! My dog is a breed that is typically feared by people, even though she’s a teddy bear, and they treat her just as sweetly as any other dog. If you want to take your pet to a clinic with just really good people, I would highly recommend this place.
