I highly recommend Dr. Crouch and Western Carolina Veterinary Surgery. In September 2025, he did a TPLO surgery on my 1 1/2 year old golden retriever who had a 90% CCL tear in her left knee. We are on week 8 post op and she is doing terrific. The recovery from this surgery is intense and long - 6 weeks very quiet followed by 6 weeks of slowly building muscle back followed by 6 to 12 weeks of getting the dog ready for run-around freedom. Dr. Crouch recently performed TPLO surgery on my dog and while we're still in the recovery process (2nd/final phase), I am very pleased with the results. From start to finish, the care and communication from the whole team was excellent. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. If your dog needs TPLO surgery, I highly, highly recommend Dr. Crouch!

Dr. Crouch, with Kris and Teri by his side, performed nothing short of a miracle. After a 6-hour surgery, he quite literally put her back together. Now, just 10 weeks later, she’s walking on her back legs — something we weren’t sure would ever happen.

We feel so lucky to have Dr. Crouch here in Asheville. His skill, compassion, and dedication are unmatched. His entire team reflects...read full review
