My daughter’s pony had a ligament injury and the team at Summit did a phenomenal job of helping us understand our treatment options and establish a rehabilitation plan. They were always available and happy to address questions along the way.
The pony’s rehab went as smoothly and quickly as possible given the extent of the injury, and she is now happily back to full work. We could not be more grateful!
Dr. James Maxwell's kindness and top notch care for the horses, and his courtesy and responsiveness to the client (along with his clear and instructive explanations) make Summit a superb equine veterinary practice. Dr. Maxwell has vast and varied experience and great expertise in all areas. He is supported by a well-trained and professional staff. Their prices are more than reasonable. I appreciate especially that he diagnoses the problem before throwing treatments at it, and freely explains the options and costs. Your horse will appreciate your using Summit, and you will be more than pleased with the professionalism of the practice--they are on time, keep excellent records, bill fairly, answer the emergency call, and above all love and understand horses and do a fantastic job.
Used Summit for a PPE from out of state when I wouldnt be able to be there in person. Dr. Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. 10/10 would recommend to someone needed a PPE or equine care. Excellent experience!
