Phil gave a fair quote and completed the work as promised, cleaned up and gave a veteran discount. He was able to find the source issue and get it sorted, plus handled two other issues quickly with an outdoor GFCI plug and hung a new light fixture. He was on time, kept things clean, and was very friendly. He was polite, knowledgeable and professional, giving constant updates on how things were progressing without being reached out to.
We had a generator panel installed in a very very old house with a lot of disorganized wiring from years of electrical "updates." Phil managed to tame the wiring loom monster and we now have a very clean install which will allow us to plug our generator into the house electrical entrance vice running a power cord through the kitchen window to keep the fridge running when the power goes out. Phil is an excellent electrician who took the time to answer all the questions we had and set us up for success with a set of easy to follow instructions on what to do when we need to switch to generator power and back. He was very courteous, professional and did an excellent job in challenging conditions. He even took the time to help us source the right cable for the hook up. We very highly recommend him for any kind of electrical work and we will call on him in the future when we need more work done.
