Most of the employees at this store are knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me choose the right food for my diabetic cat who then went into remission with that diet. My greyhounds are flourishing as I was given excellent advice on the raw food diet and also provided with websites full of valuable information on raw diets. Our new cat is in raw food as well and all three of my beloved pets are healthy and happy. Best of all yesterday the manager at the store, Kerry, recommended two products to help my one greyhound whose leg was broken when she was a racer and never healed properly. Lately it had been quite painful limiting her mobility and ability to play and run. I was told that I should see improvement within 12 hours if the issue was joint related as we suspected. I gave Pixie the supplements as directed: Tri-Acta joint health & mobility and Thrive Golden Paste. This morning Pixie leapt off my bed and danced about so enthusiastically that I had trouble getting her sweater and collar on lol. Duke hadn’t even got up from his own bed when I took her outside. The difference floored me. I expected some improvement as they have never steered me wrong but I did not imagine it would be so drastic. While she has an odd gait due to how her leg healed she was walking and running without a hint of the pain she had been in. She wasn’t dipping her head, no hesitation in her steps and no trembling leg when she squatted to do her business. Her tail was up higher and she was trotting around happily. When I took her inside to bring Duke out she wanted to come back out and immediately led us to the pen so she could play with him. The staff here are exactly what one wants in a pet store; knowledgeable, friendly, caring and truly become invested in the lives of their client’s pets they come to know. My greyhounds Duke and Pixie love going their and not for the treats I buy but for all the affection they receive. Long post but I’m so thrilled with the change in Pixie alongside all the other ways they’ve improved the lives of my pets. Now that I’ve established how amazing the staff is I’d recommend these products that I use: raw food for both cats and dogs, raw bones, walnut cat litter, the two supplements I mentioned (for dogs with the same issue) and freeze dried treats.
I wouldn't recommend this location solely on the fact that the service I received today was horrific. went in to get cat food, black Friday sale signs were still up (expired nov28) was refused the sale price with a attitude ridden no from the employee. went back in as I realized that the price I was charged and the price on shelf have a $6 difference, was denied the floor price. When we asked about it we were given a massive amount of attitude and were AGAIN denied the PRICE LISTED ON FLOOR. I honestly don't care for the excuse of "we haven't gotten our new price tags yet" if the price is different on floor then that is what should be honored
