If you want a butchered tailor shop this is the store for you! We brought our daughters prom dress 2 weeks ago, we should have read the reviews! He took a brand new, costly dress and ruined it! All we wanted was a hem done. He cut all the lower layers approximately 5 meters (as per his statement ) off, and kept the 5 meters of tooling and satin materials on the inner layer. He claims to have spent 16 hours on this dress none of the layers are even and its been butchered. He also moved the straps and moved it a complete inch. She asked for them to be tighter, not to moved. The dress is costing us an additional 300$ to get fixed by someone else. I tried talking to him about a refund and he refused. He called the Police stating that I was being abusive towards him. Apparently asking him for a refund for a botched job that he did is being abusive. The police came and took my statement as well as his. I was advised that this was a civil matter and to bring it to small claims. I gave him yet another chance to be honorable business owner and offer me the refund I was owed, he again declined. I left and told him I would see him in small claims court. All we were asking was for the 287$ be refunded. He's still refusing! Long story short if you want quality work done keep on trucking, this isn't your guy! You will be left feeling robbed and lied too. I can't sew a button but, I feel like even I could have done a better job than what he did. I would post the photos but out of respect for our daughter I won't.😡

please beware !!! This might be a long one but please read so this doesn’t happen to you !!! Me and my best friend had the absolute WORST experience at this tailor shop in the brookside mall, her wedding is next week and we needed some dresses just cut in length nothing fancy just a simple cut. He had us try on the dresses in a dressing room where the door does not even close for one. He then “measured” our dresses, one dress that is the main problem of this post was suppose to be cut BELOW the knee, after the “measurements” were done he then told us the price .. 92 dollars for each dress and wanted the money up front. We were in a pickle and needed the dresses done as soon as possible, so the bill was paid, we then went to our cars and have a conversation about it with my mom, I had explained I felt uncomfortable with the visit and something just didn’t sit right, my mom got on the phone and found someone for cheaper, so not even ten minutes after paying the guy we all go back in to have the dresses and money back, he is already cutting the dress that is wanted below the knee, he tells us he cannot refund us for the dress he is already cutting but can refund for the one not cut, he proceeded to argue about it and tried to not let us see the dress being cut, we eventually were able to take the dress and have my friend put it up to her body to see what was done as she felt just by looking at it that it was to short, my friend obviously being completely upset about the dress as this is expensive but THANKFULLY her dress wasn’t for the wedding but for a dinner during her honeymoon, gets in the phone with her fiancé and is in tears at this point, the “tailor” beings to call her back and tell her not to cry and starts “crying” himself begging and pledging for us to let him finish the dress for free, he put on a hell of a show as he panicked and began telling us that we agreed to 20 inches off the dress, and that he told us “20 times” that it was 20 inches and that he was doing what she told him to do and basically blamed her for it all, we explained she wanted it BELOW the knee NOT above, after a 20 minute argument and him putting on a show of his chest hurting and being out of breathe and crying with absolutely no tears we finally got all the money back and told him we would let him finish the dress as he was begging us to and we will be back in 10 minutes for her to try it on and if the dress is not ruined she will pay him, well 10 minutes later we went back in she tried the dress on and could not even come out of the “dressing room” to show everyone because it would show her undies if she did, so she agreed to show him a leg and he proceeded to crying and say I did what she told me to she told me 20 inches so I stepped in and told him I’m not arguing anymore she told you below the knee and it’s above YOU told her 20 inches YOU are doing the measurements YOU are the “professional” not her, he turned around and walked away, we left with a upset bride and beautiful dress that’s been ruined, she then went hon to try the dress on and look in the mirror and noticed the back is shorted then the front and can not bend down without her butt sticking out, her fiancé also has pants he needs to pick up so her went down with the dress to speak with him and get his pants and the guy completely shut down his shop for the day, thankfully it wasn’t her wedding dress and it wasn’t my dress that was there as well for her actual wedding day, please DO NOT go here :( I have recently come to find out this is a known complaint about him and he tells people if they are just looking to not come in store, if they are over weight he yells them to leave because he has nothing for them, He has absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever seen !!
