About The Lodge at Whitefish Lake
The Lodge at Whitefish Lake offers a beautiful lakeside setting and features the Boat Club restaurant, known for its excellent selection of steak, seafood, and local specialties like elk, along with a good wine selection. Guest experiences have varied; some reviews mention an unwelcoming valet upon arrival that created a negative first impression. However, many have praised the restaurant service as excellent, highlighting the attentive and fantastic servers. While the hotel appears to be understaffed, leading to delays in check-in and luggage retrieval, guests have had positive interactions with helpful staff during check-in. The pool area can be crowded at times, but it remains a highlight with a great outdoor pool and hot tub that guests enjoy, especially with the stunning views from the tiki bar nearby. Some accommodations, particularly on the Viking side, have reported maintenance concerns, but the main lodge is appreciated for its charm. Guests enjoy nice surprises like sparkling wine from 5-6 pm and s’mores from 7-9 pm. The dining room is a good option for those who prefer not to cook, and many families find the environment enjoyable, with plenty of fun activities available. The Lodge at Whitefish Lake continues to attract visitors looking for a memorable experience, with many praising the customer service and the overall beauty of the place.
One of my favorites when in WF
A wonderful place to stay! Helpful people, the free evening s'mores were a hit with the kids, and the lake views were delightful. The free bicycles to use around town were also a pleasant surprise.
We were in one of the condo units along the lake. We were never disturbed by noise from the condos. Noise from the marina and outdoor bar sometimes carried over when the windows were open, but it never kept us awake or anything. The only complaint were that the window unit air conditioners were noisy and less effective than one might like.
I was here for a conference that was largely canceled. The people who were putting it on largely didn’t attend. The staff was more than exceptional. They were special people who made me feel safe and welcome in a way that felt like it more than their job, that they were good people. The concierge was so helpful and helped me make alternative plans. The pool was amazing and had a nice waterfall. AND I saw the northern lights
