JD's Auto, LLC, located in West Yellowstone, is a business that provides excellent and affordable service, according to customers. The owner, Joe, is knowledgeable about car issues and takes the time to explain and show what is wrong with a customer's vehicle. He is able to work quickly and efficiently, getting cars back on the road in a timely manner. One customer described their truck as rattling like Jed Clampett's, but Joe was able to fix the problem in 10 minutes. Despite any initial misunderstandings or lack of mechanical knowledge on the part of some customers, they have been satisfied with the service they have received. It is clear that Joe is skilled at his job and is highly recommended by those who have used his services.
The inspection is 125, and the labor is also 125/hour. My AC motor is broken. I went there at 4:00 on the first day and couldn’t find anyone. The door was blocked at 8:00 the next morning. It was repaired at 11:00 on the third day. 8 :00 to 4:00 for work, no one will be there after 4:00, and the phone will not be answered?. Generally speaking, I think as long as you can find someone, you can still work, and the price is a little more expensive.
Hands down the best repair experience I have ever had. If I lived here, this is where I'd take my car every single time.
We broke down at Old Faithful in Yellowstone and got towed here in the middle of the night.
Not only did JDs get us up and running the very next morning, but Joe was extremely friendly and super helpful.
Bonus: The cutest shop dog ever.
First thing, ignore the negative reviews. If you have car issues, you want someone who knows what he’s doing, and that’s Joe. Bottom line, it’s going to cost money when you fix your car and when you’re on the road, who knows what can go wrong. I came to Joe towards the end of the day, while he was in the middle of finishing up a job. We talked about my car problem and he said he’d be able to get my car in the shop first thing in the morning. I brought the car in at 8AM, shortly after, he gave me a call for an update and took the time to show me and walk me through what was wrong with my vehicle.
