Made an unplanned stop at Billings Beartooth Clinic and was pleasantly surprised to be able to see a doctor quickly. We were traveling through on a family trip and needed to have our daughter's your looked at. We weren't in their system so they added us in, then showed us to a consult room where we visited with a nurse. After the intake, the nurse took us to an exam room and we saw the doctor. She assessed the injury quickly, had an x-ray tech come take an x-ray, then provided a diagnosis. The whole experience took about an hour. Not at all bad for something that can sometimes seen like a huge inconvenience.

We live out of town and were over here visiting family for my brother’s graduation and had to unexpectedly take my 3month old son to the er. This is the best hospital I have ever been to. The staff were so caring and attentive to my son. The doctor had to be called in and was there very fast. They called me a few days afterwards to check in on him and asked if we needed anything. Everyone was so nice and calm and comforting. Wish I lived closer to go every time.
Dr. Ortiz is a very thorough and compassionate provider! I have had the pleasure of getting to know him over the last few years on a personal and professional basis. so when my daughter, son-in-law and new granddaughter needed primary care nearby in Red Lodge, he came top of mind to recommend.
Recently, my 8-week-old granddaughter presented to Beartooth Billings Clinic with a cough and difficulty breathing. The care team determined that she had RSV and needed to be transferred to a Billings pediatric unit. Dr. Ortiz followed my granddaughter and daughter out to the ambulance, and he personally closed the ambulance door. What a tender moment it was... read full review
