Mary is amazing! My daughter was diagnosed with a tongue tie and doctors told us the only way to fix the frenulum was to have a laser cut. I learned that Mary worked with infant tongue ties and even had a personal experience of her own with her son who had a tongue tie. The first appointment we went to was free for my infant. My daughter took to it incredibly and Mary got her so relaxed. She educated me on why and where things were tight in her mouth and body which were causing the issues. She also taught me how to do some massage to help her at home and got us in for a quick appointments following the first consultation. Even my husband was incredibly impressed with how well she worked with our baby. I’m very excited to have an alternative way of dealing with a tongue tie in my baby versus rushing to get it cut! These ladies are AMAZING at what they do. I have a “colicky” baby and tried absolutely everything from tongue tie getting clipped, to multiple chiropractor appointments, cutting so many things out of my diet, constantly working out gas for him, giving him all kinds of things people (including his pediatrician) recommended, and nothing helped. My midwives recommended Marygold from cranial sacral, so I figured I’d give it a shot, and I’m so glad I did! His posture was night and day from the start of the first appointment to the end. His sleep also started to improve just after his first appointment. (For the record, he was probably 4 weeks when I started taking him, and he’s 7.5 weeks now.) I take him about once a week, and while there are still regressions, the overall trajectory has been progress! He always leaves the appointment unbelievably relaxed and wants to sleep for hours. I am sooo grateful for these women and what they do. Another bonus is that between the 2 of them, they have a whole PILE of kids and have so much experience and compassion to postpartum moms and newborns. It’s lovely dropping a screaming baby in their arms and watching the magic. Can’t recommend Ceiba Healing enough!
