Miss Antoinette got me in to do a washing, conditioning, and she cut my ends to get my hair back on the right track. The salon has a very calm and subtle vibe. She is a great person while getting your hair done to just have a decent conversation or discussion with!
I did schedule an appointment a little after getting my hair trimmed to get knotless Boho braids before a trip I had coming up.

Antoinette is an amazing hairdresser. Gate of Beauty is a black owned and operated beauty salon that specializes in ethnic hair types, although Antoinette does every kind of hair type. No matter what you're working with, she will have you looking amazing at a reasonable price. Gate of beauty is conveniently located right on the corner of 10th Ave s & 16th st s underneath EZ money. These ladies corn-rowed my nephew's tender head and they were incredibly patient and kind even though he fussed. His hair looks amazing regardless, I just can't say enough about this family, they've been a necessary staple to our community and I will now be going in for my own hair. Thank you!!
