“Weldon and Emmet took a high-energy English Setter puppy and turned her into both a well-behaved family pet and a bird hunting machine. In the field she hunts at a perfect distance, holds points, and has started retrieving! So far she has been to MTK for obedience training in the spring and hunt training in August. I plan to bring her back next summer for more advanced work although she is already exceeding my expectations.
I can't recommend these guys enough. Their handling of dogs and treatment of clients is excellent.”

“The staff is very caring and empathetic. It is apparent in their service that they genuinely care about the pets they board. We were so impressed with the care they provided for our two dogs over a holiday weekend. As an added bonus, their rates are very competitive... definitely worth the short drive!”

“I have taken both of my dogs to dogwood Lodge kennels numerous times over the past several years for up to 3 weeks at a time. My dogs literally jump out of my pickup to run into the kennel! To the people complaining about lack of food or exercise, these issues are easily and reasonably discussed with Jim, the owner. He is conscientious, always willing to help, and a true pleasure to deal with. We all love our dogs as family and I feel secure leaving my dogs with him!”
