I got a lash lift and tint yesterday and it didn't even last 12 hours. Ive been getting lash lifts for a couple of years now and I have never had this happen. My right eye didn't seem to take the curl at all and I mentioned my concern and I was told to wait it out, which is fair, but I would have liked to know that there was an option to fix the problem. I shouldn't have had to pay that much money for something I had to have redone the next day.
Elizabeth is truly the best! We had her up for the day of our wedding to do bridal and bridal party makeup. Without request she added in a second makeup artist to ensure we were all ready on time! I had so many compliments on how beautiful my makeup looked all day and how natural it was, which was exactly what I asked for! I also used Elizabeth for my spray tan prior to the wedding. With nerves at an all-time high the day of and week leading up to the big day, she is so relaxed and calmed me right down. She is a great person to have on your side when the wedding day chaos sets in. I would recommend her for any event, she is the best!
I made an appointment with Elizabeth at Blush for permanent brows, and this was only a day or two after I discovered permanent brow makeup existed. I feel very fortunate that the reviews on Yelp, Google, and Facebook led me to get the procedure done here - since I didn't spend much time considering the costs vs. benefits of having this done, I'm glad I went to someone like Elizabeth who really knows what they're doing. I have very, very light platinum-blonde eyebrows. I used to spend at least 15 minutes each day filling them in, and I always carried a brow pencil with me in case they rubbed off. To make matters worse, I naturally raise one eyebrow a little more than the other, and I have a bald area on one of my brows, so they would appear uneven if I wasn't super careful filling them in. Elizabeth listened to all of my concerns and spent plenty of time before the procedure drawing my eyebrows on to make sure they were exactly how I wanted them. She ended up doing an even better job than I would shaping and defining my brows. Although the procedure was uncomfortable (I'm sure I could have asked for more numbing medication), she explained the process very well so I knew exactly what to expect. The healing process was a little unpleasant and my brows looked very dark at first, but after two weeks they've faded into the perfect color. I couldn't be more happy about my brows - it is so nice to wake up with them looking perfect every day and not having anxiety about whether or not my makeup has smeared off. If you're considering having this procedure done, I can tell you from my experience that it's 100% worth the discomfort and cost. Make an appointment with Elizabeth at Blush, you won't regret it!
