Visiting Angels in our lives at one of the most difficult times provided an immeasurable service to the family. When we found ourselves in a situation where care for a loved one was needed around the clock, we were met with reasonable rates and a staff of caregivers that not only took initiative to make sure our loved one had everything she needed, but also developed a quick bond with her. When trust is paramount to care (as it always is), the building of that trust is unfortunately burdened by the caregiver in many of these situations (when the patient can’t start that process for whatever reason). From beginning to end, we have had a very positive experience with Visiting Angels. We particularly adored our main caregiver. She was excellent with my father. We credit her with restoring his ability to walk after a hospital and nursing home stay. The owner, Jane, was very responsive to my calls and texts. She did everything she could to make sure we were satisfied with the care they provided. Every issue we needed to discuss was handled quickly and to our satisfaction. We appreciate the opportunity to care for my father at home as long as we were able, until his health required a change. This would not have been possible without their help. My mother is a very independent 92-year-old until she fell and fractured her back in August. After an extended stay in a rehab center; I reached out to Visiting Angels of Tupelo -after getting rave reviews from friends of my mother. When I reached out to them, Jane Owens immediately responded to my inquiry and accessed my mother the next day. Jane was very proactive and quickly set up a plan in addition to helping me through a series of roadblocks. Jane and her Angels have been tending to my mother since October.
