These things work very well. Simple, yet genius idea. I’ve used them for a few years. I have 3 of the scented traps. I’ve trapped over 50 armadillos in that time. I live on a farm in central Florida, so they are everywhere. With these traps, I’ve kept the colonies off my property. Don’t cheap out. Buy the scented traps, then follow the instructions. Keep them out of the sun and pouring rain. The scent is key to drawing them in. I followed an armadillo one night and saw it in action. After tracking their movements for a couple nights, I put them out at sunset. I get out at sunrise and always have success. The Armadillo trap was very impressive: very well-made! However, I still haven’t caught an armadillo. Something was setting it off in the early morning, but not catching what triggered it. I’m not giving up yet!!! It’s very Strong and sturdy. I do wish I’d gotten the pre-scented trap, and would definitely recommend that trap by the same company. I’ll update when I catch the tough fellow!!
