I am very pleased with the quality work Alexis did on my hair. She professionally applied color, highlights, layered haircut and blow dry. I especially like the way she blended my hair when cutting it to accentuate my natural curls and for easy daily styling. She toned down my blonde highlights to make them blend with my hair color perfectly. I would definitely recommend her and this salon!

I've had several amazing haircuts at this establishment and I cannot recommend Barnette's Salon enough! Their Jackson and Ridgeland location are both fantastic. I had my hair taken care of by Kelsi C here and she did an excellent job at both the cutting and the styling. The head massages here are DIVINE and she squeezed in a lip wax for me, which was very kind of her. She was very considerate and I would implore y'all to try her out. I got about nine inches taken off of my hair for the summer (bobs are in at the moment, just fyi) and left feeling refreshed and bob-alicious.

I really appreciated the responsiveness by Barnette's to my request for an appointment, as well as their follow-up to find out exactly what I wanted to achieve with my cut & color. My appointment was with Meredith, who was open to looking at the photo of the cut I was looking for & knew right away the color she wanted to achieve. I was also pleased to be offered coffee, tea & water during my appointment--a nice bonus. Finally, I received an appointment in a timely fashion, & I appreciated the salon's attentiveness to a new client!
