I am passing through Meridian on the way to Birmingham, and needed to buy disposable contacts for a few days until my order arrives.

The owner of Ellis Optical was very helpful and found disposables with just the right strength for me. He even threw in a complementary batch of 10 contacts, in case I needed more.

Today, I took my 13 y/o grandson in for the fitting of his new lenses in his Ray Ban frames he got from Ellis optical last year. The process of ordering the new lenses was just a matter of a phone call and a electronically submitted image of the prescription since the frame dimensions and size were on file already and three days later, the lenses were ready!The Ellis family are genuinely kind and caring people who make you feel right at home in their charmingly lovely new location. We were there less than twenty minutes but, even so, received an apology for the wait time which was nothing short of comfortable and pleasant. Definitely the best experience I've had when it comes to my vision needs. Always have contacts in my prescription and I can buy just 1 pair if I need. Friendly service that makes you feel welcome. You get the feeling that the Ellis family is truly interested in meeting the customers needs at all costs. The only place I go or recommend when it comes to vision.
