Last week while visiting in Madison, my precious 17 year old pup Sparkle became gravely ill. We took her to URGIVET, and there she received the best possible care. Sadly, the next day we had to have her put to sleep. It was possible one of the worst days of my life. Dr. Ferguson and her staff were wonderful, compassionate, and caring. Every 5 or six hours while Sparkle was in their care, I was sent updates regarding status. Dr. Ferguson was honest about her prognosis and clearly explained every condition and how they were treating my baby. We took our dying pet to another emergency vet and waited and waited. We left and drove to Madison Med Vet and was promptly greeted with by super friendly staff. They quickly triaged our cat and we got to say our goodbyes and end her suffering. We will now use them for all our pet emergencies. I highly recommend & they treated our Tink with compassion.
Exceptional and quick service! Came at around 9:30 for my dog with a blade of grass stuck inside his eye. Exam, surgery, and post op instructions took about 1 hour and we were out with some medications and a very sleepy boy! Everyone from the front desk to the vet techs and doc herself were wonderful and thorough. Fair and reasonable pricing as well for the service. Could not recommend them enough for emergency vet needs!
