The Back Shak is a massage practice located in the historic Clower Building in downtown Gulfport. The practitioner is very passionate about her craft, working slow and methodical to find and release tight, stubborn knots. She uses an effective method focused on the muscle origin and insertion points for deeper, longer-lasting relief, demonstrating advanced knowledge. The atmosphere is both nice and relaxing. Clients report an amazing, outstanding, and phenomenal experience with great pressure. She is extremely sweet and professional, explaining what is going on and offering recommendations for care at home. You receive close to the full amount of time for the massage. This is a high-quality, deep tissue experience for the shoulders, back, and hips. It is highly recommended by seasoned clients and first-timers alike. The practice is easily accessible but does not offer mobile massage; same-day appointments are available by call.
I personally suffer a great deal with sciatica, chronic pain and headaches. The relief I feel after one session is worth every single penny. I had a massage done by Ammi and it was by far the best massage I have ever received. I didn't know that I had a lot of knots and tension in my back, but Ammi was able to work these out. The next day I could feel how much more relaxed my muscles were. It was the first time I actually enjoyed a massage, I'm scheduled to come back monthly and I'm excited. I highly recommended!!!!
