My children have been taking riding lessons at Hillside Stables for years, and it has been a truly wonderful experience. The stable is always calm and peaceful—such a lovely environment to learn and grow in. The owners are incredible people: kind, knowledgeable, and so gifted at teaching. They genuinely care about both the horses and the students, and it shows in every lesson. Our kids have grown in confidence, skill, and love for riding thanks to the time they’ve spent here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality horse riding lessons in a welcoming setting!

If you are looking for a glorified pony ride, this is not the place for you.
However, if you want to actually learn how to both respect and care for these lovely animals (as well as ride them), then you cannot go wrong with Hillside.
We’ve had our preteen here for a year and a half and she has grown SO much under PK’s teaching. She is gaining knowledge, confidence, AND competence. There is no one we would rather have teaching her!
Cannot recommend Hillside enough! ❤️

We took our four-year-old daughter for the first time on a horseback riding lesson and it was so wonderful. It was more of a discovery and knowledge of basic things. PK is a wonderful instructor and I would recommend her to anybody of any age. The place was very nicely kept and beautiful
