“I am new to using a CPAP and over the past 45 days it has been difficult for me to find a nose mask that has been both tight fitting and comfortable. At times I’ve been tempted to give up and ignore my doctor’s recommendation. But each time I brought back a mask to the Apria store in Biloxi — which issued the machine to me — they patiently and sympathetically allowed me to try an alternative. I now have a mask that works perfectly for my face and I can comfortably sleep 8 hours with it. My wife is also a CPAP user but hers was issued by a different distributor. She wishes she had the quality of service Apria is providing me! In short, I can’t say enough good things about the respiratory professionals who staff Apria. They are truly competent and caring — a rare combination too often these days.“

“I have used this service for my Mother for about a year now. They have always been friendly and professional. They will go that extra mile for their patients. When I was in need for a caregiver last minute on a day they normally do not cover for me they went out of their way to find me a caregiver at the last minute. The caregiver had a transportation issue and because they knew I was in need that they arranged to pick the caregiver up and drop them off at my home. They also arranged to get the caregiver a ride home. With the price of gas and the fact that is was about 60 mile round trip, meant that their profit for that shift went down, but they still did not care, their only concern was that the patient had the care they needed. I wish we had more services like this. If I could rate them higher than a five I would have to rate them at a least a 10 for service above and beyond. Job well done. “I have been a home health nurse with deaconess for more than 6 months. By far this is the best job environment I have EVER worked for. This job has taught me to increase my knowledge in the nursing field and has allowed doors to open I would have never thought possible! My managers have been amazing in helping me understand my role as an educator for my patients! My work schedule allows me to peruse my BSN degree while working full-time. Home health is not easy but I do love the team I work with!“
