“I had a wonderful first session with Laurie W, and I am so excited to continue working with her. I came in after spending the weekend camping, and my body was sore and stiff from sleeping on an air mattress and spending lots of time in the heat outdoors. I had a sunburn on my upper back and worried that would make me need to reschedule, but Laurie was able to work around it. She was great about telling me that she could not massage my sun burned areas until they’ve healed, but offered lots of alternative areas to fill out the time we had. She even gently applied some lotion to my sunburn for me, letting me know that moisture and time would help it heal the best!
The consultation was thorough, thoughtful, and made me feel at ease. Laurie checked in with me throughout the session to confirm the right level of pressure, and to make sure I was comfortable with every area she addressed. She told me that she wanted to know if something felt too deep or uncomfortable, which was so helpful to me. I thrive on clear communication and specific details, so Laurie was the best fit for me. I knew I could give feedback freely, I was safe, and that the session was focused on what I needed. I left feeling calm, refreshed, and released. Cannot wait to come back!”
