Critter Corral, established in 1988, is the oldest and longest-established pet grooming shop in Franklin County, serving the area for over 36 years. Owned by Margie Berger, the business offers all breed dog grooming, cat grooming, pet boarding for dogs, self-bath facilities, and pickup and delivery services for senior or special needs clients in the Union and Washington areas. Customers praise the friendly staff and the excellent grooming, noting that pets look and smell great after visits. The staff is also accommodating with scheduling. However, one minor concern is that the shop only accepts cash, which can be inconvenient for some clients. Overall, Critter Corral is a trusted and caring place for pets.
I cannot recommend Critter Coral enough! From the moment I called, the service was absolutely outstanding. I had been turned away or put on long waiting lists at other groomers, but Margie was able to get my cat, Rosie, in the very same day. That kind of accommodation is unheard of and already showed me how much she truly cares about her clients.
When we arrived, we immediately felt welcomed by Margie’s warm, kind energy. She treated Rosie with such gentleness and patience, and it was clear she genuinely loves what she does. The whole experience was stress-free, and Rosie came out looking and smelling wonderful.

My husband and I have now taken our little girl miko and our baby boy loki to critter corral. They do an excellent job. The staff is always friendly. I highly recommend you take your beloved fur babies here.
They did a great job grooming our cat and they were very accommodating with the scheduling. My only issue was that they didn't accept card so we had to go to the ATM to get cash. Very few places accept only cash as a payment and I'm not usually prepared for that.
