My son had his first appointment with Dr. Matson recently. I was nervous about bringing him to a new Optometrist due to all of my son's rare conditions. The facility is gorgeous, the front staff were warm, friendly, and so patient with me. Dr. Matson honestly blew me out of the water. She answered all of my son's questions in a way he could understand (he is 7), and even let him see the pictures she took of his eyes! She was very thorough in all of the tests she ran. She listened intently to my experiences navigating his rare conditions, and was so kind. All of my fears have vanished. I cannot say enough good things about our visit. Thank you all so much!

Dr. Keirsey makes learning about your eye and getting new glasses fun. He is an ex-teacher turned doctor so that’s probably why. They have a crazy camera that takes pictures of your eye so you don’t have to have your pupils dilated. Totally worth an extra $35 dollars since it means you can get right back to work. But it was also interesting all the things the doctor knew about my health just from looking at these images!! His assistant was cool too. There is only good things to say about this practice and those working there.

Scratched my cornea last week and was able to come right in and get a bandage contact and some antibiotic drops. If you’ve never scratched your eyeball it’s rather painful! lots of eye watering, can’t keep your eye open and super inconvenient. You won’t find better optometrists and staff! Not only have I been a patient here for over 20 years but I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my family’s eye-care. They are ALL amazing. They are so knowledgeable, courteous, and caring, you just can’t find the care you receive here anywhere else!
