Many years ago I was introduced to Companion Canines during nail trims at UPCO. I was impressed with the personable service and care received from a simple, inexpensive nail trim. Since then, we have greatly benefited from their grooming services, as well as beginner, intermediate and private training classes. They are full of knowledge and provide invaluable insights in a non-judgmental and relaxed format. I am a better dog owner because of services provided by Companion Canines. I highly recommend.

Just finished up the beginner obedience class. Bryan and Amy run a great class. Never felt like we were being judged and they were great about helping when needed!

I have known and respected Amy, Companion Canine’s trainer, for many years. As our groomer and friend, she has always gone above and beyond for our family...because she cares. I recently took our 6 year old rescue bull terrier to training with her at Companion Canine. At the time, he had lived with us for about 3 years. We had done a little formal training. We didn’t have a ton of behavioral issues, but I wanted to take our training to the next level. I am so thankful we did it. Amy empowered me on so many levels which empowered my dog. She is a down-to-earth trainer who gets to know you and your dog. She works hard to increase the level of communication between you and your dog. I have had dogs for a long time and have been through many dog training classes. This was the first class where it “clicked”...the training, the practice at home, the implementation in the real world. It’s been exhilarating. It’s now been several weeks since we have graduated. I still marvel at the level of communication I now have with my dog. For that, I am forever grateful.
