INCOMPETENT office staff. Laid on the couch for three days waiting on IV fluids for hypotension I was told would be given the next day. I called them numerous times and was told my insurance does not cover home infusions. Called insurance company and it is covered, but they did not have record of me being a patient with this company. Amedisys gave me the incorrect number to address with the supplier, so they had no record of me either. When I called Amedisys for the sixth time to address this issue, they called an ambulance for me, although I was in the same condition I’d been in since my assessment three days ago.
