Recent reviews highlight the clinic’s excellent care and compassionate approach. One pet owner brought in Daisy, an 11-year-old Maltese, with a large lump on her neck. The veterinarian, Dr. Schaeffer, performed a thorough exam, a small needle biopsy, and determined it was likely a problem with Daisy’s salivary gland. She also noted Daisy’s dirty teeth and the need for some to be pulled. Daisy received antibiotics and steroids, and over the weekend, her lump decreased in size. The owner praised Dr. Schaeffer’s knowledge, kindness, and empathy, as well as the support staff and front desk team. Daisy also had a large lipoma removed from her back, and the procedures went very well.

Another customer shared that Plattsburg Animal Clinic did a phenomenal job with their 14-year-old cat’s dental, describing the care as extremely affordable and excellent.

A different reviewer expressed high praise for Dr. Schaeffer, calling her the very best veterinarian. After moving from Holt Animal Clinic, Dr. Schaeffer provided thorough and caring treatment. She successfully helped their dog when other vets could not, offering extra time with their pet and compassionate support when it was time to say goodbye.
