About Leftovers Etc.
Leftovers Etc. is a non-profit organization that provides a unique shopping experience for the community. The organization has faced challenges, including having to relocate from one location to another, but it continues to serve the community with its wide range of resources. The current location is inside the Chesterfield Mall, on the lower level next to Macy's. The store offers a variety of items, including packing material, at reasonable prices. While the current location may not be as vast as the previous ones, the organization's dedication to its mission remains unwavering. The store is managed by a team of passionate individuals who go above and beyond to assist customers. Leftovers Etc. is a hidden gem that offers a valuable resource for artists, teachers, and the community as a whole.
I have been here several times now and I absolutely love it! I craft with a little bit of everything so I have found a wide variety of paper, fabric, books, magazines, wood, bottles, stamps, and so much more! I try to come back every few weeks to see what new stuff they've gotten in and I've also donated. The people who work here are super friendly. I have not run into any issues with their hours. I will continue to come back often, I love this place! 😊
This non-profit does so much for our community and so little people know about it. I started using it when I was a girl scout leader and now I use it for various art projects. The leaders of this organization do everything they can to stay alive even when they're forced to move from one location to another. I wish every artist in every teacher in the area knew about this place so that they could use the resources to the best of the ability that it's presented to them.
( Walton Road- Overland site is closed since August 2022) NOW LOCATED at the Chesterfield Mall location on the lower level next to Macy's . It was OK but not nearly as vast as the other locations- I think space is an issue. The prices were uncertain, some things were weighed in a paper bag, the packing material I bought was $10/ I wasn't expecting that cost. I just couldn't say "NO" to the sweetest two ladies who were on duty that day. I appreciated knowing you can go into their store using the lower level "employee" entrance instead of walking through Macy's and out into the mall's lower level. It isn't marked anywhere on the doors, but the employees will show you the "secret door". I will return again and also enjoy the St Louis Teacher's recycle shop just 2 doors over from Leftovers.
