The company I worked for just made our 3nd vmware compute server purchase. The first was made direct from Dell. In that one, we learned what we didn't know. The second was made five years ago from Orange, on the strength of a friend's word of mouth recommendation. The three refurbished machines purchased then have run without flaw. When it came time to update the compute stack, it was an easy to go back to Orange to purchased four newer machines, although I did do some shopping to be sure they were still competitive. I have been buying HP DL380 servers from Orange Computers since at least 2011, and I always received exactly what I ordered, on time, with zero issues. The servers run forever, and I have never had a problem with any of them. In fact, I still have a ******* that I converted into a Windows workstation to use as a gaming machine, and it continues to run flawlessly.Now, I am looking to buy another server that I will setup with Linux to run VMs to provide various services, and then convert my current ******* to a Linux workstation.Orange Computers has become my ************* for HP servers. I could not be more satisfied with Orange Computers!
I've been ordering servers and spare parts from Orange for nearly 14 years now across 4 different companies I've worked for. I think the total is easily 70+ servers. They sell great servers at very fair prices. We've almost never had new server money, so having a source of high quality used servers is incredibly helpful and lets us accomplish what we need within our limited budget. The servers have always been shipped on time, or even earlier than what's estimated on their website. Their in stock component sales are great as well and usually allow for some better hardware than we could otherwise afford.
