I have returned to my hospital’s therapy! Fitzgibbon Hospital is a down to earth facility and I am pleased to receive my therapy.

Recently diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Denounce this awful disease to the world does not make the disease disappear or fade, it’s now part of my life. Maybe your have heard of another name for this disease, named Lou Gehrigs disease. Lou was a Major League Baseball player and was stricken by this disease midlife and of course the disease is quick. The pain was excruciating, and I was tired of taking ibuprofen and icing it. I figured, if I had our surgery, then I’ll have to deal with it. I chose a Cortisone shot, which alleviated most...read full review

Today I was scheduled in Ambulatory Care for a monthly injection. I checked in at the front desk of the hospital and everything was so beautifully decorated and festive. Kimmi checked me in and was very friendly and helpful. I did not wait long when Shannon, the nurse, took me back and gave me my injection. She was very professional and gave me both shots and I did not even feel it! She really took great care of me! We are so fortunate to have such a nice facility in a rural community with wonderful professionals to care for us. Thank you, Fitzgibbon! Shari Thompson, M.D.
