I have been a patient of Dr. Kauffman's for over two years now. Back when the pandemic started. I asked her is she could write me a letter of exemption not wear a mask. She said that she would have to check on that, and I never heard back from her.Fast forward to 3-15-22 when I badly dislocated my left shoulder. I was on my third Orthopedic Doctor. As the first two were in network for my Humana PPO, but the Hospitals they operate out of were not. So I found a Dr. Matthew Smith from Columbia Mo. who would be able to do my surgery. She has literally saved my life and even in the middle of the mess of my heart going crazy she still listened to me when I asked her not to give me a certain medication. Thank you Dr. Kauffman.
