I live in Kansas City, and have happily been commuting to Kanning Dental in Lawson since Elissa joined the team in 2015! She keeps all my dental care organized and up to date, and she adapts her routine to accommodate my sensitive teeth. I dont just learn if I have a cavity, but rather, I leave knowing more about my sinuses, airwaves, and teeth! The X-ray machine is neat. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Kathy is great! Dr. Tippin and I exchange our favorite local foodie finds. The office features metal art of local landmarks in Lawson. I believe Health and wellness start in the mouth, and, over the years, the office has educated me about jaw health and offers convenient sleep study services. Dr. Kanning is very knowledgeable, including suggesting a temporary mouth guard for maintaining jaw health. It came about after a conversation we had. I speak a lot at my job, and I wear a mask. Those two things, in combination with subconscious teeth grinding, puts a lot of tension in my jaw. I feel safe in their care, and will continue to visit Kanning Dental for all my dental needs.
