My baby Keisha had been exposed to kennel cough by my other dog. A few days later on Sunday morning she started coughing and vomiting. She got extremely sick. She vomited at least 25 times in 24 hours and was having a very hard time breathing. I called R Veterinary at 9:00 am on the dot Monday morning and they were able to get her in at 3:30 that day. They made sure no other dogs were in the office to cross contaminate. They did an examination and confirmed it was indeed kennel cough. She was sent home with 3 prescriptions. My total for the visit and pills came to $132. This seems reasonable.

Called with a sicked ferret unfortunately only saying goodbye was my option. They don't normally see ferrets as they are an exotic but since it was just to say goodbye they said they would take me in. Same day even. My boy was very sick. They were so nice and gentle. Usually they wouldn't let owner stay since the way they have to pts is different then dogs and cats. And most owners freak out but they kindly let me stay since I knew how it had to happen. They gave him a sedative so he would feel nothing and my tiny boy was so weak that's all it took. They were so kind and even took a footprint for me. This was my first visit to the Laurie clinic . The staff is very compassionate and thorough. I have a high regard for Dr . Katie . She has treated my little Peanut for a few years . Was instrumental in saving her life this past winter , a long with Dr. Rachel. I recommend them to anyone looking for a vet .
