I had a very disappointing experience with this office. My appointments were repeatedly changed, making it difficult to receive consistent care. When I told them the medication they prescribed was making me pass out, I felt like my concerns were completely dismissed instead of being taken seriously. Rather than trying to help or evaluate what was happening, I was told to either go to the ER or find a new doctor. As a patient, that's not the kind of care or compassion I expected when reporting serious medication side effects. I left feeling unheard, unsupported, and frustrated. I was a former patient at Cox Med One and transferred care to Access Family Care due to it having a more convenient location. The staff is wonderful, especially Melinda. She actually listens to my concerns, and even helped me get a test done and covered by insurance that I was pushing to have done by my previous provider.

Very Slow. The Nurse Practitioner won’t get you anywhere. I went in for labored breathing and Susan the Regustered Nurse told me to inhale very deep a few more times because if my O2 is too low she’d have to do the paper work and she didn’t want to do the paperwork because it was on a Friday and then tried backtrack out of what she said. I left and went to the ER. Don’t waste your time. The receptionist was good!
