After posting my concerns below, Kathy from Aladdin Chem-Dry contacted me and asked if they could come back to give the remaining stains another try. They did, and Tim really worked hard to re-clean the trouble spots. In fact, he re-did even more than I'd asked. Better yet, Tim offered to come back and give it another go if any of the stains re-appeared. In my mind, that's a stand-up business.
Original review: Immediately after the cleaning, everything looked great. The hardest carpet stains were still visible, but less so than before cleaning. Now more than a week later, many of the original stains in both carpet and upholstery are re-emerging. Not sure what happened in between the day of cleaning and now. The service person worked super hard on the job, so it isn't an issue of effort. I wish I'd known what to expect from the end result.”
