I help business owners develop and implement plans to prepare for the future to benefit themselves, their families, their employees, and their customers. Typically the first step is a business valuation. We need to know where we are before we can know where we are going. From there we develop a transition plan specific to the business and the owner's needs. That plan should identify both obstacles and opportunities and may take 2-3 years to implement. However, the more comprehensive the plan the higher the price an owner will receive from the sale of their business.
