Herman was fantastic and the Cobbler Room and Cottage is a fantastic place to stay. It is located in the middle of everything in town. On busy weekends it is really nice to park and walk in any direction for entertainment and food. Nancy pays attention to details and the accommodations are always clean and comfortable. Already planning for next stay. Never been disappointed!
We have stayed at both available units, The Cobbler Room and The Cottage. We enjoyed them both.The host lives literally either right in the building or right next door (depending on the unit) and she is very responsive to inquiries. She worked with us both times when we had slightly late check-in times, which was greatly appreciated.Both units are well-appointed but not what anyone would call fancy. You'll have everything you need, including a coffee pot and coffee, which are essential for a caffeine addict like myself.The best thing is the location. You are within easy walking distance of pretty much every cool thing in "downtown" Hermann (such as it is).... read full review
I have stayed at this B&B many times and have always had a great experience. Rooms are extremely clean and the location is great as it's walking distance to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, the Amtrak and a couple wineries in town. The Katy Trail is also not far. Nancy is always very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this B&B.
