You want to know how great Lakeside is? Let me tell you a tragic story. We took our 11 month old puppy, Remy, to Lakeside while we traveled out of state. On our first night away, Olivia, one of the Lakeside owners, called to tell us Remy was sick and relayed her symptoms which we shared with our vet who recommended that we take Remy to the closest ER Vet Center in Springfield, 100 miles away. Olivia drove Remy there - it was very late at night. She was with Remy when we received the news that there was little hope. Olivia cried along with us (we were on the phone) as she held Remy when she was put down. Olivia returned to Lakeside - another 100 miles - at 2 a.m. We can never repay Steve and Olivia for their effort and kindness shown through this traumatic event. These folks are true dog lovers and wonderful souls. Need I say more?
