There are also a giant corn pit, swinging ropes, slides—including a big slide and a two-story slide—and a jumping pillow with a new time limit that keeps the fun safe and fair for everyone. Guests can enjoy the gumball coaster, which is a game of chance, although there are no signs informing kids that they don't get a Gumball, making it a fun surprise for some children. Visitors can bring their own picnic foods or reserve a fire pit to make s’mores, adding to the family experience. The barn has a large play area for kids, and guests can pick their own pumpkin or choose from already selected ones if they prefer not to walk through the field. The pumpkins are comparable to store-bought prices, making it a convenient stop for seasonal fun. Staff members are known for being kind and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. While the farm offers many enjoyable activities, some visitors wish there was a petting zoo to add more animal encounters. Food trucks would also be a welcome addition, providing more dining options. We had such a great time celebrating our Christmas party at Shryock’s Callaway Farms! The venue is super cozy and really gets you in the Christmas spirit. From the lights to the overall atmosphere, it felt warm, festive, and welcoming. Everything was perfect for our event, and it was the good place to have party or celebration. We had a blast and would definitely recommend it for a holiday gathering🎄✨ (or any type of event for sure ☺️🎉)
This place is really cool! We were there about 4 hours, but you could spend all day. All ages can have fun (even teens!) Huge area with picnic tables and firepits. They even have roasting sticks for marshmallows, etc. Corn maze, jumping pillow, hay bales to climb on, basketball hoops, pumpkin patch. Barn has 2 slides, ping pong/wiffle ball table, big corn pit, ball drop, swinging ropes. Several options for food and drinks. Delicious ice cream! The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices very reasonable. It was our 1st time there and would definitely go back!
Such a fun time for people of all ages. I was with a large group that broke into smaller groups- some strategically looked for check points while others wandered aimlessly. Then all the young people (3-15) went to the activity barn or to the large jumping pillow. We also reserved a fire pit and brought supplies to make s’mores. The staff were so kind and helpful! It was a great afternoon.
