When the washing machine flooded, I didn't hesitate to call ServiceMaster. I've been very aware of the fantastic reputation Adam K and his team have. They were kind and very helpful from the moment I called, and arrived quickly. Bobby and his team were excellent. ServiceMaster came to the rescue when we realized we had water damage on the baseboards, far from any water lines. After pulling the tub our plumber discovered a leak in a fitting, that had been going on for a while according to the amount of mold found in our tub surround, drywall, vanities, and even under our flooring. We spoke first with ServiceMaster on a Friday afternoon and they worked us in to accommodate being there Monday at 8 with the plumber. ServiceMaster worked to mitigate our loss (including educating us on the safety measures they put in place), were super fast with paperwork, and took the reins on working with our insurance. Last year, our house suffered a severe water damage while we were away. Upon reporting the issue to ServiceMaster of Columbia, the company immediately sent a team to our home to address the problem. Through days of hard work, they skillfully cleaned up the mess and carefully packed our belongings from the affected areas.
The team leader, Jonathon, young and capable, handled the difficult process with professionalism. He showed exceptional care in preserving our belongings and artworks and took many detailed photographs to document everything. Moving furniture and appliances was an extremely strenuous task.
