Trying to reach JCPenney by phone was frustrating. However, going to the store I found very courteous, helpful and efficient personnell and became reconciled to the idea that JCPenney is a good store.

Prior to this visit, I hadn't been to Penny's for years. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Disappointing experience, though - a lot of the displays needed work, and they just didn't seem to have the selection they once did. I'm sure that's partly due to people shopping online, but it's a vicious cycle; if stores don't have a good selection of product and don't make shopping a fun and exciting experience they are going to go under.

Best department store in the mall. Their clothing ranges from inexpensive to nice dress clothing for an office job. They have a large jewelry department that’s very competitive with other stores and carry some nice pieces. My wife bought a $3500 ring there that she loves and used the Penny’s card. She even received bonus points for the using the card that we used for clothing. JC Pennys rolls the free line to get you in there and it works and saves me money. Upstairs they have a fully staffed salon with nice equipment and great hair products that are salon quality and name brand. They often have product sales and that’s when I stock up.
