Dr. Vladimir Gelfand M.D. was found guilty by a jury of medical malpractice in January 2024 for over prescribing opioid narcotics that resulted in opioid addiction and subsequent injury to his patient. Gelfand prescribed opioid narcotics (including fentanyl) for ten years without proper patient assessment, patient monitoring of opioid use, misuse and when Dr. Gelfand was confronted by a colleague of the opioid problem Dr. Gelfand abandoned his patient after a ten year relationship knowing that his patient would perish. So glad I waited to get an appointment here after my doctor retired. Love this place! Love my new doctor, Jennifer Snyder and the NP, Nicole Burdge. Really like the MyPatientChart for so many things on-line. They seem to really listen and care about your concerns. Wow! LOVE THIS PLACE!
