“This story is about Chuck Girard the gospel Christian Rock and worship singer I would call his order number many times to order albums or CDs from his business number in California where much earlier I was born! I didn't know him personally but I grew up with his music where he would sing or his band Lovesong would sing! They were a huge part of the Jesus revolution that took place in the early seventies! And I saw that movie and it was really good! One day his secretary and I got into it over something stupid over the phone he interrupted the call chastised his secretary for speaking to a loyal customer and told me when I ordered my next CD it is absolutely free on him! That's the kind of man he was! I had no idea until I was watching a special about him today that he actually passed away on my birthday August 11th 2025 I had no idea he had cancer! I believe he was 82 when he passed away! I caught one of the specials his daughter was doing Alisa was doing about his life and legacy! I listened to his music quite a bit and his group Lovesong, and I still follow his music today! One of the greatest albums I have ever heard in my lifetime was when he sang with his band about an album called Final touch! One of my favorite albums of all time! I never got to meet him in person even though we were both from California, but I felt I knew him most of my young Christian Life because it was a lot of his music I grew up with! And I'm sure he's entertaining the angels and the heavenly faithful right now in heaven! I look forward to meeting him one day in comparing notes since we are both songwriters! He did many cassette tapes albums and CDs! As an individual artist I believe one of his greatest albums was Fire and light music that was done in the late 80s! At this point I have eight songs of my own that are done through God's Holy Spirit and they are called the Battleground songs! With the title song Battleground on the CD called Battleground! God has assured me that the rest of the music will be developed in heaven! Almost 500 songs! I don't know how many Chuck did but he was amazing! I am so sad that I heard he passed away! But I know this much he's no longer suffering any kind of pain at all! I can't wait to see him one day and meet him face-to-face! He was an absolutely incredible gospel Rock and worship singer and songwriter! Check his music out all over YouTube! One of his favorite songs he ever did it's called Slow down! That song got me through hard times before I even became homeless in Indiana! I have followed his music most of my life I started out as a teenager with him and as an older adult now I still follow the message he left! I was shocked that I heard he actually passed away! I can't wait to meet him and I hope you guys will check out his music and legacy! Legendary Gospel Rock and Worship Singer and Songwriter Chuck Girard! God bless you all from Boston and be safe!
