Our side yard and back yard were partly wooded and mostly disaster, with decaying DIY stairs, an abandoned play area, a collapsing DIY wall, and erosion from the neighbor’s runoff. Lance’s vision was to let the woods be woods, rip everything out, grade and resod. We added walkways to and from new aggregate stone stairs, and we have grass now to control the erosion. One hiccup was that the crazily laid out inground sprinkler system had to be rerouted to go under the walkway and alongside the stairs. We had drainage issues in our backyard, and Lance came out right away to take a look. He gave us a clear proposal, was patient while we weighed our options, and once we decided to move forward, he was even able to move us up on the schedule after water made its way into our basement. His crew wrapped up the project in just five days, and the entire time Lance kept us in the loop with daily updates, explaining the work and what was coming next.

Lance and his team did a major renovation of our back yard about a year ago including building retaining walls, leveling etc. We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Lance and everything has held up great. Lance really took the time to talk us through the project and think through different aspects of it. He and his team worked hard to get the job done and it turned out better than we expected - Lance addressed some of the water issues we hadn’t even considered. I highly recommend Lance to anyone needing landscaping.
