My laptop crashed while doing an update, and it was no longer working. I had been told by a local chain store that nothing could be done to recover the data nor fix the computer. I then took it to Jim, who did tell me initially that he thought that I would most likely need to buy a new computer, but he continued to work with it and was able to get into the laptop and make it functional again! Thankfully, most of my data was saved elsewhere. I was so grateful to not have to purchase a new laptop. I also appreciated the amount he charged for the repair. I will continue to take our family's computers to Jim if there is ever a need for a repair! Thanks, Jim!
