“I'm in another state, and when my aunt died in Missouri, my sister and I wanted to send flowers that were bright and joyful, to celebrate and give thanks for this wonderful woman's life. I looked at Yelp for good florists close to the city where she was to be buried, and found Mt. Vernon Greenhouse and Floral. I've been duped before, where I ordered flowers and got nothing like the picture I picked out, so I called and spoke with Hallie. I asked if I could have her send me a pic of the actual arrangement, since she said what was on their site wasn't very accurate. She said they just got in a shipment of flowers, and texted me pics of all the flowers they'd gotten in. I said I'd like them in a big basket, and also that we needed to keep it under $200. She said she'd make something up the next day and send me a pic, and would change whatever I wanted. I also asked that she use some of the blue flowers they'd gotten in. She texted me early the next morning, and the arrangement was perfect--a big, basket filled with bright flowers, very artistically arranged, and she used all the blue flowers in the shipment! I called her several times, and she was very patient. Also, this was delivered to a town about 40 minutes away from their shop. The total, with tax and delivery, was $218.45. If you've ever ordered through a funeral home, you know how expensive arrangements are. I thought this was a great price, and Hallie went out of her way to make exactly what I'd asked for. Thank you Hallie and Mount Vernon's, for helping us to send something special to someone extraordinary. Wish you were in my city so I could send all my friends to you, and use your services again.“
