About The Dance Academy - Kay Williams Prunty
The Dance Academy, opened in 1996, offers dance classes for students of all ages, from toddlers to adults. The academy provides a variety of classes including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, contemporary, musical theatre, and worship dance, as well as tumbling, leaps turns and jumps, and combo classes. The Dance Academy fosters confidence, coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, and musicality in its students. The passionate and caring instructors are dedicated to helping students grow and love dance with positive and uplifting attitudes while teaching teamwork, personal responsibility, and friendship. The academy is known for its professional setting and for putting on a great show with fantastic, fun, and sparkly routines. It caters to both recreational and competitive dancers, offering a journey of competing dance with its dance company.
Our daughter has been dancing here for several years, she enjoys the variety of classes offered from tumbling, leaps turns and jumps, combo classes to ballet, she’d struggle to ever pick a favorite as she loves the challenges and the fun of them all, we also enjoy that we get to embrace the journey of competing dance with our dance company side of the studio too.
Our son and daughter have both danced at the dance academy for several years. They have a positive and uplifting attitudes while teaching teamwork, coordination, personal responsibility, and friendship. We highly recommend dance to boys and girls who are working on foot coordination for other sports too!
