We recently turned our unfinished basement into a cozy haven for our family. The space turned out exactly as we had planned. Working with John was a wonderful experience. Here are our highlights: 1) We were very concerned about our budget. We only had one small add on that was necessary and ended up exactly on budget! 2) We had bids from two companies. What we appreciated about John was that he came out to our house, looked at the space, and then had his contractors come out to our house BEFORE we signed the contract. He gave us a detailed contract with an estimate. My husband and I loved the certainty of what we would pay for this big project. The other company we spoke with gave us a "rough" estimate but didn't have contractors come out until AFTER we would have signed the contract. We appreciated John's process more. 3) John was always quick to respond to our text messages and phone calls. We never had to worry about him not getting back to us, which we appreciated. 4) John's contactors were friendly and respectful of our house. Our overall experience with John was smooth and we ended up with the perfect space for our family.

What seemed for us to be a daunting remodeling project turned into a relatively seamless process when we called John at JBS Remodel and Roof. Not only did John come out on short notice but he came prepared with questions we had not thought of, a portfolio of projects and walked us through a pretty decent consultation. John listened, answered our questions and provided us a project estimate without asking us what our budget was. His estimate was right in line with what we were looking to invest and we hired him immediately. Needless to say, the end result is astonishing. High integrity, very ethical and highly referred!!

We recently decided we wanted to gut our partially finished basement, remove a load bearing wall and create a home theater and entertaining area. We called several companies and in the end picked JB Custom Carpentry. We're glad we did and absolutely love our finished basement! Working with John made the whole process easier from start to finish and we got exactly what we wanted. John met with us twice to consult on the project before we signed anything or started any work. He listened to what our vision was and gave us some great ideas of his own. Throughout the project he was timely, kept us up to date on what was going on and responded quickly to our questions. One of our biggest concerns was our budget. John communicated well with us when we asked for add ons and always let us know where we were with our budget before he did anything so there were no surprises. The quality of the work that was done is outstanding and the end result is a gorgeous, functional space. We've gotten compliments from everyone who has seen it. I would recommend JB Custom Carpentry to any of my friends or family members!
