Thank you foe the Concealed Carry training!“
“I’ve been training martial arts around 15 years and have trained at a lot of different gyms. This gym is my favorite and the only one I’ve stuck with long term. They just teach such solid bjj and striking. Plus Great people and instructors. Like that Bodie guy. One thing I noticed after stepping away from martial arts for a couple years and then returning, Was I basically forgot all the sporty stuff that I learned from the other gyms. But what I learned from the warriors cove stuck with me.“

1067 Hwy 96 W, Shoreview“Having been a student at Lee's Champion Taekwondo Academy for three years now, I can confidently say it is the premier place for training in the area. The school maintains a professional and disciplined environment that pushes you to your limits while remaining welcoming to all skill levels. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how the instructors balance rigorous physical training with essential life lessons like perseverance and respect.
One of the standout features that has really helped my progression is the availability of private classes. These sessions allow for a level of technical refinement that you just can't get in a group setting. It’s also a unique privilege to occasionally train with Master Brandon H. Lee. Even with his success as a martial arts star and actor, his sessions are incredibly grounded and focused on high-level precision, which has been a major highlight of my time here.
I will be honest: this academy is quite expensive. Between the standard tuition, testing fees, and the added cost of private lessons, it is a significant financial commitment compared to other schools. However, after three years, I firmly believe you get what you pay for. The quality of the facilities, the low student-to-teacher ratio, and the chance to learn from world-class talent justify the premium price.
Ultimately, the growth I've experienced in both my physical skills and my personal confidence makes every cent worth it. If you are serious about martial arts and want the absolute best instruction available, this is the place to be. It is an investment in yourself that pays off every time you step onto the mat.“

225 Roselawn Ave E #3, St Paul“My two daughters and I have been training at The Art for over 10 years. We enjoy all of the classes we have taken but most of all we appreciate the community that Master Jake and Ms. Natalia have fostered. Although it may be intimidating to new comers, all of the staff, assistants and students at The Art do what they can to make anyone feel welcome.
Even if you are just looking for another way to move your body and learn some new skills while you are doing it, The Art is a fantastic place to check out. The atmosphere is low pressure and you will get out of it what you put into it but you can always be assured that you are welcome.
Even if you are just looking or a new and fun birthday party idea for children or adults, check them out. It is a fun, easy and low risk opportunity to see what The Art is all about!“
“I have trained at Midwest Karate (Art of the empty hand) for several years ever since graduating from the University of Minesota under Sinsai Fusaro( in 1973 where he taught). When the dojo opened at Dayton's Bluff, I continued to train under Sinsai Forest,Joe, and Anita. The oraganization has a strong reputation for integrity, flexible class schedules, and reasonable rates. As Master Ginchin Funakoshi stated in the preface to his 1975 book,"Karate-Do, My Way of Life," Karate-do is not merely a sport that teaches self defense blocks, strikes, and kicks but a continued training discipline that promotes strong mind/body to help provide a defense against illness and disease as well. Thanks to his devotion to Karate-do, he never had to take medicne or consult a physician. Shotokan karate's traditional training system of stretching, basics, kata, and kumite (sparring) provides an outstanding opportunity to gain self confidence, strength and balance to feel more comfortable in any self defense situation that may arise. “Just a wonderful team and organization here. So welcoming, so positive and really experts at dealing with any kind of child that walks through their doors. Our family really appreciates this team and what they provide our community. I cannot say enough good things about Master Hendrickson and also her team.“
