However, some feedback has noted that the receptionist's demeanor could be improved, as there have been instances of repeated paperwork and lack of communication about delays. Dr. Trent Thielke is extremely professional and astute and has a terrific personality. I am so grateful to have discovered him at St. Paul Eye Clinic! And the Tech Megan was awesome as well. Friendly and knowledgeable. I have the utmost confidence in their care.
I saw Dr Thielke for a problem I had with one eye. He was extremely thorough in examining, taking pictures etc. After ruling out what he thought might be the problem, he continued to examine my eye until he found the reason I was having trouble. I liked that he believed I had a problem and he took the extra time to find out what was wrong. Very upbeat doctor, easy to talk to and encouraged me to ask questions. I have been a patient at St. Paul Eye Clinic since Lakeview Hospital sent me there for an eye problem 8 years ago. They have performed many procedures on my eyes and I believe if it wasn’t for this clinic I could have went blind in my eye.
Dr Thielke was great. The receptionist was not so good. Everything was done the week before and they insisted on doing it all again. Plus they didn't inform me the Dr was running late. Woodbury receptionists were wonderful. Oak Park Heights not so much. Her demeanor was unpleasant too. She is your initial face and contact of your location. You might want to improve this!
